Background
A life long resident of Monroe County, and a Vietnam Veteran, Bob Hay has been in the real estate profession for over 32 years.
Bob began his real estate career in 1976 working for independent real estate companies until 2002. In 1982, he passed the Broker’s exam, which eventually lead him to open his own real estate company, BOBHAY.COM REALTORS®, in 2002. In 2008, he joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates, as an Associate Broker. In 2009 Bob joined Keller Williams Real Estate as the Broker of Record.
He has been active with the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® (PAR) since 1978. He was the 2008 President, 2007 President Elect, 2006 First Vice President, and 2005 Treasurer. Bob has served on a number of PAR committees and task forces including the Board of Directors, Legislative and Issues Mobilization Committees, Strategic Planning, REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), Business Services for Real Estate (BSRE) and the Pennsylvania REALTORS® Education Foundation (PREF).
Bob is also active in the National Association of REALTORS ® (NAR), serving as a Federal Political Coordinator for Congressman Paul Kanjorski, as a member of the Board of Directors, and a member of the State & Local Issues Committee.
Bob has also served as president of the Pocono Mountains Association of REALTORS® (PMAR) in 1982, 1983 1999 and 2000.

Community
In his community, Bob was Chairman of Board of the Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce in 2006. He serves on the Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation for Monroe County. He has served the Mount Pocono Planning Commission and is a past Chief of the Pocono Mountain Volunteer Fire Company. Working on restoring passenger service from Scranton to New York City for over 20 years, he chairs the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority.
Bob resides in Mt. Pocono, with is wife of 33 years, Beverly, the Association Executive of PMAR.
